What is Tokyo Game Market?
Tokyo Game Market is the biggest board game and tabletop gaming convention in Asia. It is a 2-day event that happens twice every year during the Spring and the Fall. The convention is held at the Makuhari Messe building in Chiba, Japan.
It has been around for 26 years and is the go to place to discover new games in Asia. This convention is focused mainly around indie game designers and publisher that want to make a name for themselves creating new and innovative games. These indie games can range from professionally manufactured to printed cards and some game pieces in a plastic bag.
In addition to indie games, big companies like Arclight Games (who is the host of TGM), Oink Games, JELLYJELLYGAMES, itten, Playte and many more across Asia attend.
