Shipping and Returns

How does shipping work?

As we are a small independent operation, we do bulk processing of our orders twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

For example, if you order on a Tuesday, we will process your order the next day on Wednesday. It will be sent for shipment on the same day or next day. We will try to send out shipments on same day as processing day. 

Please e-mail us at support@redgoosegames.ca if you absolutely need a rush order and we will try our best to accommodate you.

I don’t want my order anymore. Can I cancel it?

If for whatever reason you need to cancel your order, please contact us at support@redgoosegames.ca with your order number and details about your order.

We can process your cancellation before we start packaging. Our cancellation policy is that you have until the 9AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on our processing day (Wednesday and Saturday). If you order on the day of a processing day before 2:00 PM, it will be sent out same day and you will not be able to cancel.

So if you ordered on a Wednesday July 1st, you have until Saturday July 4th at 9:00 AM EST. If you order on the same day

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all returns as we are a small independent store with limited stock of product and hard-to-source games. Please contact us at support@redgoosegames.ca and we will look into each case and resolve on an individual basis.

What is the cost of shipping?

Canadian Shipping Costs (Two Choices)

1. Tiered Flat rate shipping with third party couriers. Third party couriers give estimates that might be quicker but we will estimate up to 7 business days to arrive.

  • $10 - Provinces of Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba 
  • $15 - Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador
  • $20 - Territories of Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon

2. Shipped by Canada Post (Expedited Parcel or Priority):  Calculated at Checkout. We set this as an option for those who want it quicker. However,
while it might say "1 business day", many things can happen on the trip with Canada Post to delay your package so please be aware and choose Canada Post at your discretion.

US Continental Shipping Costs (Two Choices)

1. 15$ USD Flat rate shipping for the Continental United States.

2. Canada Post USA Shipping: Tracked Packet USA, Expedited Parcel USA,  Xpresspost USA 
We set this as an option for those who want it quicker. However,
while it might say "1 business day", many things can happen on the trip with Canada Post to delay your package so please be aware and choose Canada Post at your discretion.

Non-Contintental Shipping: We will only be using Canada Post USA shipping method above for the following states and US territories: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico

What carriers do you use for the US flat rate shipping?

We use a couple of Canadian shipping companies that partners with USPS to handle most of the deliveries. The packages are delivered to the US border from our location in Ontario, Canada. Afterwards, they are sent through USPS’s Ground Advantage network. This applies only to

Does Red Goose Games ship orders as "Delivered Duties Paid (DDP)"or "Delivered at Place/Duties Unpaid(DAP/DDP)"? 

As we are an import business that would like to cater to US customers, all of our board game products will be subjected to some kind of tariff. All of our orders are shipped as Delivered Duties Paid. This will save you the trouble of needing to pay US customs yourselves.
