Background on Eternal Sevens

What is Eternal Sevens?

Eternal Sevens is the latest game from designer Hiroken and his game company, Tricktakers. This is a modern implementation of a traditional shedding game known as 'Sevens' (Fan-Tan). The artwork was done by Tokyo-based design company, MUJUNSHA.

You can win in two different ways; discard all your cards from your hand or earn stars. You fill up horizontal sequences to earn stars. Playing certain numbers can activate special effects. In this game, passing on playing a card into your field can be as strategic as it will trigger effects that will affect you or your opponents.

Is this related to Eternal Decks?

Eternal Sevens and Eternal Decks share the same artist and share the idea of Eternals being involved with the gameplay and having certain effects. However, Eternal Sevens  gameplay will be different. Compared to Eternal Decks cooperative gameplay. you will be playing against other players. This will be a 2-4 player game with a casual mode and a gamer mode.
