About Us

Hello, we are Red Goose Games! We specialize in board game imports from Asia! We want to bring the joy of what Asia has to offer with their board games to Western audiences.

Primarily, it's me, Kevin, who runs the store operations. However, my lovely partner Lem and my fur-son Archie help from time to time! The store logo was created by Lem who is a Canadian artist.

After my second trip to Japan in 2025, I really got knee deep into the Japanese board game scene and realized this was happening everywhere in Asia. I reached out to a couple of industry people who were willing to give me advice on how I could get started on becoming a retailer of board game imports.

In Spring 2026, I booked my ticket to Japan to attend Tokyo Game Market, Asia's biggest board game convention. Game designers from several countries came to show off what games they made all under one big roof. It was amazing to see both new and experienced gamemakers under one roof and showing off what they'd created. Experiencing this event and discovering all of the new games was an amazing time, and I hope we can give you a taste of this with Red Goose Games.
