New Releases Tokyo Game Market Fall 2026 Part 1

Welcome to Part 1 of the showcase of games from the upcoming Tokyo Game Market Fall 2026 event. We've outlined a few things about each games and some even have english rules available to read

Keep in mind, just because an game doesn't have english rules does not mean they're not playable! There will be upcoming translations officially from the designers themselves and others will probably be supported by the board game community and have video tutorials. Most of these games should be language independent.

Merge Take

Trick-taking, anti-set  English rules here

From the creator and artist of Cat in the Box, Merge Take is a set collection game where you have to collect as many slime cards as you can! However, Slime cards that are in matching sets or consecutive sets are grouped together. Card groups over 5 cards will result in penalty of points!

Hyakuju Parade

Hyakuju Parade (100 parade) is a climbing/shedder game where players make numbers with matching numbers beside each other to beat each other. You cannot arrange your hand so you must strategize and plan out your cards for the best numbers. Players can also add or take from each others hands which will make gameplay more interesting

Breakthru

Designer: Geonil  Artist: Sogeum | Publisher: SCHEMERS

Geonil's newest game, Breakthru is another 1v1 trick-taking game. Little is known about gameplay details but, according to him, this one's difficulty would be considered 'Hard'. There are two phases; the drafting of the suit powers and then the trick taking phase.

Matchmakers

Matchmakers is a team-based trick taking. Winning and losing tricks matter as they can determine if you obtain trump cards to use. The mechanic of matchmaking also allows for points to be scored instantly if the same suit and number card is played. This is Sylvain Baudet's first game and his love for outdoor sports bleeds into this cute mountain climbing theme game.

Doppel Hand

Doppelhand is a four-handed trick taking trick taking game. However, the twist is that this is only a two player game and you are a playing with a partner which is yourself! You use your left and right hands to play.

Cinema Trick

Cinema Trick is a trick taking game where you play as duck movie directors shooting the best movie by predicting how amny tricks/scenes you will win each round. There's a Script/Bidding phase, a Shooting/trick taking phase and Editing/scoring phase. Each player will have the chance use the special 'CUT!' action to win a trick.

Cassiopée

Based on a classic trick taking card game called 'Whist'. Five sister goddesses story revolving around Cassiopeia constellation. On each team, there will be a prophet and an observer. The prophet side where they reveal their hand to decide the trump suit. The other side will be the Observers to intently watch cards to play best hands.

A mysterious candy shop where you can point to any candy and say 'I'll have this and that'. However, conflicts will arise with other players who might ahve claimed it. The goal is to first reach 30 points and collect the candy from the playing deck.

A chain reaction game where you traverse between the Sun and the Moon. The fewer cards you have the leads you both closer to victory or an elimination. Strategize your way to attack or leave an escape route by playing your cards right until the last one.

This is a rebuild of a previous game from JupitersClub called 'The One Who Was Thursday'. There will be 3 factions (Anarchists, Poilice and Minions of Midas). Try to get the most faction points and agent fame points.

Korokoro Kitchen Scramble

Deduction, betting, push your luck, rolling  Rules unavailable currently

Designer: Toshiki Saito, Tsunogaeru  Artist: Tsunogaeru | Publisher: Sato Familie, Nosugemu

A re-implementation of a previous game by Nosugemu called 'Candy Berry'. This game is all about a chaotic kitchen where mice are trying to eat cheese, cats are trying to catch mice and patient dogs trying to get the best leftovers. The game is played on a peg board where balls will roll down it and land in certain hidden slots that players will have to deduce.
